GeoEye: RSS Feeds
What is RSS? RSS is an XML-based (eXtensible Markup Language) format for content distribution that includes headlines, summaries and links.
What is an RSS Reader? Also known as an RSS aggregator or News Reader, this is software which enables you to get the latest information, in RSS format, delivered straight to your desktop. There are a wide range of RSS Readers available for all platforms and operating systems. Click here for a list of some popular RSS readers.
Clicking on the RSS button below will provide you with the RSS feed of our news releases. To read this data, you'll need to copy the URL into your RSS reader.
How to utilize RSS feeds? There are two recommended options when utilizing the RSS feeds on this site.
1. Upgrade your Internet Browser to the latest version of Internet Explorer (IE7) or Mozilla Firefox (2.0.0.7) which are both equipped with an RSS reader in their browser by default. Return to the GeoEye Newsroom site and click on the RSS Press Releases Icon and the RSS Feed will be displayed in your upgraded browser.
2. If you click on the RSS Press Releases Icon and see a page filled with XML code, you can copy and paste the link (http://geoeye.mediaroom.com/index.php?s=103&page=43) into an RSS reader which will decipher the XML code into a legible RSS Feed.
